Tracking Links & UTM Parameters

Tracking links (primary attribution)
Every influencer has a tracking link at {brandSlug}.influise.com/c/{slug}. Visiting this URL records a server-side click, then redirects to your destination with a clid parameter. This is what drives conversion attribution — set up your Workspace URL in Settings first to activate tracking links.
Campaign-specific links (e.g. {brandSlug}.influise.com/c/a3b7kx2p) are auto-generated when you add an influencer to a campaign and appear on the campaign detail page. Influencers can also create additional named links from their portal Tracking page — for example separate links for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
If you configure Link Destinations in Settings, influencers can set a specific destination URL per link (from the approved domain list). Without approved domains, all links redirect to the brand's default Base URL.
UTM parameters (analytics)
UTM parameters are appended to the destination URL by the tracking link redirect — they let you segment traffic in Google Analytics or any other analytics tool alongside click ID attribution.
- Set your brand's Base URL in Settings → "UTM Tracking Base URL" (e.g.
https://yourstore.com/landing). This is the destination page all tracking links point to. - Each influencer's detail page shows their tracking link. UTM params (
utm_source,utm_medium, etc.) are set on the influencer's edit page and are always appended to the redirect destination. - Influencers can visit their public tracker page (
/i/their-slug) to view and customise their UTM link for sharing on social — they can edit the campaign name and content fields.
utm_sourceis always the influencer's slug and cannot be changed.utm_mediumdefaults toaffiliateif not set. UTM parameters do not affect attribution — only thecliddoes.
