Social Media Monitoring

What it tracks

Social Media Monitoring lets you track post-level engagement metrics — views, likes, comments, and shares — from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X (Twitter) for each of your influencers. Engagement data sits alongside conversion and payout data so you can see the full picture of an influencer's impact, not just the clicks they drive.

Plan access

  • Free — Social tracking is not available; the Social nav item is hidden.
  • Basic — Manual post tracking, up to 30 posts. Engagement polling every 24h. Optional post-capacity add-ons available.
  • Pro — Manual post tracking, up to 200 posts. Engagement polling every 12h. Includes auto-discovery of posts from influencer profiles and search terms. Optional post-capacity add-ons available.

Adding a post manually

  1. Go to Social in the sidebar and click "Add Post".
  2. Select the influencer, choose the platform, and paste the full post URL (e.g. https://www.tiktok.com/@handle/video/…).
  3. Optionally assign a campaign, add a caption, and set the original post date.
  4. Click Add Post. The post appears in the table and begins polling for engagement metrics automatically.

Post table & metrics

The Social page shows all tracked posts with their latest snapshot metrics. Filter by platform, influencer, or campaign using the dropdowns above the table. Each row shows:

  • Platform logo, post thumbnail (where available), influencer name, and campaign assignment.
  • Latest views, likes, comments, and shares — sourced from automated engagement polling.
  • Time since the last metric update.
  • Pause / Resume toggle — pausing stops polling and frees up a tracked post slot without losing historical snapshot data.
  • Delete button — permanently removes the post and all its metric history.

Post preview

Click any post thumbnail (or the expand icon) to open a preview modal. For YouTube posts the video plays inline. For other platforms a thumbnail image is shown (when scraped by Apify). The modal also displays the caption, current engagement metrics, and a direct link to open the post on the platform.

Social handles & auto-discovery

Open any influencer's edit page and scroll to the Social Handles card to enter their TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X handles. Handles are used by the auto-discovery feature (Pro) and shown on the influencer's detail page alongside their tracked posts.

Pro accounts can use the Discover button on the Social page to automatically find recent posts from each influencer's configured handles and any campaign/brand search terms. Newly found posts are added to the tracking table and begin polling immediately.

Per-influencer social view & dashboard stats

Each influencer's detail page has a Social Posts section at the bottom showing only that influencer's tracked posts. An Add Post button there pre-fills the influencer field.

The main Dashboard shows three social summary cards for the current period: Post Views, Post Engagement (likes + comments combined), and Clicks. These are visible on Basic and Pro plans.

Post capacity add-ons (Pro)

If you reach your plan's active post limit and social overage is enabled, the Social page shows a capacity card with three add-on tiers. Purchasing an add-on opens a Lemon Squeezy checkout overlay and adds extra post slots immediately. Add-ons are billed as a monthly subscription and can be cancelled from the Billing page.

Key notes

  • Pausing a post keeps all its historical snapshot data intact.
  • Deleting a post permanently removes it and all its metric history — this cannot be undone.
  • Re-adding a previously deleted post URL starts fresh with no prior snapshot history.
  • Engagement metrics are updated automatically by a background polling job — no manual refresh needed.
  • Each post's metrics are stored as an append-only snapshot history, enabling sparkline charts in a future update.
